FKThe artist
His world,
pressed into sound.
FredKobby grew up where music was never background noise. Rhythm lived in church, in the market, in family gatherings and in the language of everyday Accra. His records carry that memory without copying what already exists.
His catalogue moves across Afrobeat, highlife and soul. “Pray” held the feeling of waiting. “Find My Way” spoke to direction. “Ginger” brought the energy. “Head to Greatness” gave his most repeated word a record of its own.
“Born for greatness. Connecting the world through music.”
Fred Kobby combines expressive lyrics, infectious melodies and a genre-fluid sound, bringing the energy and culture of Ghana to a global audience.
